As a great leader and coach, he always informs the players about the necessary formations, strategies, and other effective tactics that would lead the team to success. <br /><br />Keith McKittrick is the coach that always desires to any game. That’s the reason why he inspires the team to aim greatness and attain success. Sometimes, the players of his team seek his help and advices so that they can perform much better during the games. He ensures to show great passion which gives the players the same passion for the game and achieve success. Besides having a highly competitive spirit, whether the team faces defeat or victory, he still gracious of the game results. He always upholds a very professional approach in every game played that also give the team players the right idea on how to properly behave and conduct themselves before, during, and after the game.<br /><br />McKittrick is one of the greatest coaches in ice hockey sports industry. He spent time in communicating, motivating, leader, teaching, doling out discipline, administering first aid, checking the safety factors, organizing, and becoming an overall hockey technician. While the job aspects only tend to really face the higher coaches level of the professional level, there are still times when the coaching seems like a very thankless task. <br /><br />Being on the headset with other assistant coaches of the team, McKittrick primary responsibility is provide video breakdowns to be shown to players and staffs during the intermissions, and organize many video scouting reports to be prepared for the next game. In addition to that, Keith McKittrick also presents post-game reports in order to review each player’s game performances and join the coaching on-filed during the practices providing the necessary support and guidance to promote improvement and skill development. Keith was a very famous coach in ice-hockey industry who has a very valuable experience in arriving effective in-game analysis, which was greatly beneficial during the time he worked at Portland Winterhawks. <br /><br />Before working with the Red Wings, he spent lots of his time as a coaching staff in Minnesota Wild, National Hockey League team; and in Michigan State University. Keith McKittrick also had 2 international experiences as a video coach for the team USA in 2006’s Three Nations Tournament, and 2007’s World Junior Championship in Sweden, where the team successful ranked the bronze medal.<br /><br />Before working at the Minnesota Wild he was the Club Hockey program head coach at U of MN. While being in Minnesota, he was the only one responsible for scouting the opponents of team and preparations of game plans and practices. He was able to develop a player and team specific mission statements, seasonal goals, objectives, evaluating and analyzing progress throughout each and every season.<br /><br />Keith McKittrick also became an instructor at Northern Edge Hockey School in 2003. As the head of on-ice instructor, he’s the one responsible for design of on-ice course, and also handled new development of business throughout Midwest and assisted with elite USA and International Hockey Schools.<br /><br />McKittrick being able to join in University of Minnesota as tight end, he’s already a 4 year member of the Golden Gophers Hockey Club program, both as the team coach and star player. In 2001, Keith was enlisted to University Dean’s List and given a college scholarship in U of MN in 2002. Keith McKittrick now belongs to the elite members of USA Hockey Team.
